Dr. Stavros Nousias leads the Knowledge Representation and Reasoning research group at TUM’s Chair of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering. He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, an M.Sc. in Electronics and Information Processing, and a Ph.D. from the University of Patras (2011, 2016, 2022). Over his career across European and national projects, he’s worked as a software engineer, systems developer, research engineer, research associate and research lead.

His work focuses on representation learning, computational modelling, machine learning, geometry processing, geometric deep learning, and computer vision.
